The X201 board, powered by Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 and 5 processors with an integrated NPU for AI inference, offers optimized workloads across CPU, GPU, and NPU, providing up to 22.4 TOPS of AI computing power while maintaining energy efficiency. Dual HDMI® 2.0 ports deliver exceptional visuals, and a variety of I/O interfaces support a wide range of AI applications. A USB 3.2 port enables connection to AI cameras so that the Visual Edge computer can process images and apply machine learning, allowing it to understand similar events in the future. The RS-232/422/485 ports facilitate connections to legacy devices – such as sensors – to perform object recognition and behavior prediction, which are imperative in automation use cases.
Designed to operate in extreme temperatures from 0°C to 70°C, the X201 board is ideal for semi-outdoor applications such as self-service kiosks, smart recycling machines, and intelligent parking systems. Concurrently, owners are going to collect and analyze data on customer preferences and habits to improve operations, aiming to increase profits. With this in mind, NEXCOM has collaborated with Intel to develop its newest board for Visual Edge computer, the X201.
